Commonly trail cameras come equipped with a mounting strap so that they can be mounted on a tree trunks, pillars, posts etc. Some models also have threaded inserts that allow them to be used with standard camera mounts.
If you are planning to use the camera outside your property, it is wise to check that you either have possibility to use cable lock, like Python and/or that there is a security case available for the model you planning to buy.
Cable locks and security boxes are both inexpensive ways to keep your trail cameras safe. Even if your camera is relatively cheap you still don’t want it to be stolen, do you?
